CLASSES
BEGINNING STAINED GLASS COURSE
The beginning Stained Glass
course is limited to 4 to 5 students so that each student receives lots of
individual attention. Since the classes are small, classes are scheduled
based on student interest and have some flexibility.
Goals of Course
Introduce the student to the exciting art of the Copper Foil (Tiffany)
method of stained glass design.
Learn how to use basic stained glass tools and complete a sun catcher and
window hanging.
Course Outline

WEEK ONE: Brief introduction to stained glass; cutting the glass;
picking a project pattern.

WEEK TWO: Making a cartoon; making a sun catcher

WEEK THREE: Beginning main project; cutting and grinding

WEEK FOUR: Working on main project; foiling and soldering

WEEK FIVE : Completion of project; use and types of came; patina
Cost of Course
Course will consist of 5 sessions (2 hours per session) - $130 plus
materials.
We will be happy to put together a basic tool/supply package for you ($75
plus 5% MD sales tax) or you can purchase the supplies on your own. Student
will be responsible for shopping for and purchasing glass for their main
project.
NOTE: Due
to recent studio changes, our classes are currently unavailable.
